SAP and Expedition PR Win Silver Stevie® Award in 2012 International Business Awards℠ for Customer Experience Edge Campaign
Brooklyn, NY – August 27, 2012 – Expedition PR and SAP were named the winner of a Silver Stevie® Award in the ninth annual International Business Awards. The campaign “SAP and Expedition PR Go by the Book: The Customer Experience Edge” was honored in the Communications or PR Campaign of the Year – Marketing – Business-to-Business category.
The team implemented an integrated thought-leadership program around the topic of Customer Experience Management in the United States, Asia-Pacific and Europe, using the book The Customer Experience Edge (McGraw Hill Professional: October 2011 by Reza Soudagar, Vinay Iyer and Dr. Volker G. Hildebrand) as a discussion platform.
“Focus on better understanding customers and delivering a relevant, superior customer experience has become a top CEO agenda today,” said Reza Soudagar, senior director, Customer Line of Business Marketing, SAP. “It spans every interaction customers have with a product or brand. Our campaign was designed to discuss the competitive advantage that companies can gain by embracing customer experience management as a business strategy. A key insight presented in the book is the critical role modern technologies such as mobility, analytics, big data, and social media have in enabling contextual engagement with customers to build trust and increase customer loyalty.”
The International Business Awards are the world’s premier business awards program. All individuals and organizations worldwide are eligible to submit nominations – public and private, for-profit and non-profit, large and small. The 2012 IBAs received entries from more than 50 nations and territories.
“Entries to the IBAs grew substantially this year,” said Michael Gallagher, president and founder of the Stevie Awards. “Despite slow economic conditions in much of the world, the quality of nominations was outstanding, demonstrating that there are many companies that are innovating and growing regardless.”
More than 3,200 nominations from organizations of all sizes and in virtually every industry were submitted this year for consideration. Stevie Award winners were selected by more than 300 executives worldwide who participated in the judging process this year.
